A Human Bug Hotel

Students at Furzedown Primary School engaged in a creative project designing and building a "human bug hotel," a pavilion that allowed them to experience life from an insect's perspective. They explored concepts of structure, scale, and proportion, translating their imaginative narratives into physical spaces. This project was significant as it encouraged the students to consider environmental requirements, viewing plants and insects as their clients. Facilitated by professional architects, the workshops not only developed the students' technical skills but also promoted environmental awareness and creative thinking.
